Article 1 (Purpose)
The purpose of these Terms of Use is to prescribe the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between Hancom Inc. (hereinafter referred to as the “Company”) and users, as well as other necessary matters, regarding the use of the Hancom Blog (hereinafter referred to as the “Blog”) operated by the Company.
Article 2 (Definitions)
The definitions of terms used in these Terms of Use are as follows:
1. “Blog” refers to the official blog operated by the Company to provide information regarding Hancom products, technology, and corporate activities.
2. “Post” refers to all content published on the Blog, including text, images, videos, files, and links.
3. “User” refers to any person who accesses the Blog and uses the information and services provided by the Blog in accordance with these Terms of Use.
Article 3 (Copyright of Posts)
The copyright for all posts published on the Blog belongs to the Company or the legitimate right holder.
Users may not use all or part of the posts by means of reproduction, transmission, publication, distribution, broadcasting, or creation of derivative works, nor allow third parties to use them, without the prior written consent of the Company.
However, personal citations for non-commercial purposes may be permitted provided that the source is clearly indicated.
Article 4 (Obligations of Users)
Users shall not engage in any of the following acts when using the Blog:
1. Acts that violate relevant laws and regulations or harm public order and morals.
2. Acts that infringe upon the intellectual property rights, such as copyrights, trademarks, and portrait rights, or other rights of the Company or a third party.
3. Acts of spreading false information or defaming or insulting others.
4. Acts of interfering with the normal operation of the Blog or accessing the system in an unauthorized manner.
5. Other acts that violate laws or these Terms of Use.
Article 5 (Disclaimer)
The Company makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness, reliability, or timeliness of the information published on the Blog.
The information published on the Blog is provided for general guidance purposes and does not guarantee suitability for a specific purpose.
The Blog may provide links to external sites operated by third parties for the convenience of users, and the Company assumes no responsibility for the content and services of such external sites.
The Company shall not be held liable for any damages caused by natural disasters, force majeure, or reasons attributable to the user.
Article 6 (Personal Information)
The Company does its best to securely protect users’ personal information in accordance with relevant laws and regulations.
Detailed matters regarding the collection, use, storage, and destruction of users’ personal information are subject to a separate “Privacy Policy.”
Article 7 (Amendment of Terms)
The Company may amend these Terms of Use within the scope that does not violate relevant laws and regulations.
In the event that the Terms are amended, the Company will announce the amended Terms through the Blog at least 7 days prior to the effective date. However, in the case of changes unfavorable to the user, notice will be given 30 days in advance.
If a user continues to use the Blog after the effective date of the amended Terms, they shall be deemed to have agreed to the amended Terms.
Article 8 (Jurisdiction and Governing Law)
All disputes arising in connection with these Terms of Use and the use of the Blog shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea.
The court of jurisdiction for disputes related to these Terms of Use shall be the court of jurisdiction under the Civil Procedure Act.
